The purpose of this grant program is to support potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) research programs that focus on varietal development and testing and potato varieties for commercial production. As used herein, varietal development and testing is research using conventional breeding and/or biotechnological genetics to develop improved potato varieties. Aspects of evaluation, screening and testing must support variety development.

Applicants must partner with and/or be land-grant IHEs (see RFP for details).
SFARI has generated a wealth of genomic and phenotypic data across several autism and related neurodevelopmental disorder cohorts and has also supported, through external grants, the generation of additional large datasets. The goal of this program is to increase the use of large, publicly available data resources by supporting investigators to allocate time and personnel toward working in and publishing from these previously collected data.
The NEA invites applications for its Spotlight Grant, which is intended to promote research in topic areas of special interest that relate to NEA’s advancement of overall research priorities for eczema. In 2025, specific areas of research interest include patient-centered outcomes research, which is crucial for eczema research because it focuses on the experiences, needs, and preferences of patients living with the condition.
The Alzheimer’s Association invites applications for a new funding initiative: Part the Cloud - Enable the Molecule for Therapeutics program, which is designed to advance promising therapeutics for Alzheimer’s and related disorders through final stages of the investigational new drug-enabling stages. This initiative supports high-potential therapeutic candidates, providing essential resources to expedite their translation into clinical application for Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia.
The Foundation aims to support scholarly projects with the potential to enhance the appreciation and understanding of European art and architecture from antiquity to the early 19th century. Grants will be awarded in support of projects that create and disseminate specialized knowledge, including archival projects, the development and dissemination of scholarly databases, documentation projects, museum exhibitions and publications, photographic campaigns, scholarly catalogs and publications, and technical and scientific studies.
